3. Aachener Präzisionstage: Internationale Konferenz am Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnologie IPT

Am 28. und 29. Februar 2012 veranstaltet das Fraunhofer IPT zum dritten Mal die »Aachener Präzisionstage«. Die internationale Konferenz mit dem Themen-schwerpunkt der Präzisions- und Ultrapräzisionsfertigung wendet sich an Teilnehmer aus Industrie und Forschung. Die Veranstaltung zeigt nicht nur den aktuellen Stand der Technik auf, sondern stellt auch die neuesten Entwicklungen und Forschungsansätze zur Herstellung von Präzisions- und Mikrokomponenten vor.

Thematisch stehen folgende Punkte im Zentrum der Veranstaltung:

• Verfahren und Maschinentechnik für die Herstellung geometrisch
komplexer und großflächiger Bauteile
• Materialien und Werkzeuge für den Einsatz in der Präzisions- und
Ultrapräzisionsfertigung
• Herausforderungen und Möglichkeiten der automatisierten

3rd Aachen Precision Days: International Conference of the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT

On February 28 and 29, 2012 the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT will be holding the “3rd Aachen Precision Days” – an international conference with a thematic focus on precision and ultra-precision manufacturing addressed at participants from industry and research.
The conference focuses on the current status of technology as well as ongoing developments and research approaches for the production of precision and micro components.

The conference will mainly focus on the following topics:

• Materials and processes for precision manufacturing
• Automated precision assembly
• Manufacture of complex geometries
• Manufacture of large-scale precision components
