Sales Manager (m/w/d) Laser Processing

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for incoming orders, increasing market share and regular forecasts
  • Direct identification of new customers and project-related acquisition of laser systems for plastics processing (laser scoring, cutting & welding) with focus on the automotive market
  • Responsibility for key account management with personal support for selected key accounts
  • Development of suitable technical machine solutions for specific customer enquiries in cooperation with the application, project planning, product management and design departments as well as preparation of quotations
  • Conducting negotiations and closing contracts with technical, commercial and legal elements
  • Intensive market observation and analysis to expand market intelligence in close cooperation with Marketing, Business Development, Product Management and Sales Management
  • Definition of market requirements as input for product, technology and process development
  • Involvement in the strategic planning of the business unit

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering and management, technical oriented business administration or similar Education
  • Professional experience in sales of complex machinery or systems that require a high degree of explanation, preferably in the automotive sector
  • Technical knowledge, ideally in the field of laser machines
  • Knowledge in the areas of market analysis and project management
  • High intercultural competence and ideally knowledge of the French marketStructured working style, high degree of negotiation skills as well as distinct analytical and conceptual skills
  • High international willingness to travel (up to 50%)
  • Very good language skills in French and English as well as good knowledge of German
  • Confident appearance, pronounced communication skills and the ability to work in a team
