Workshop on the Future of Silicon Detector Technologies - FuTuRe III
While the technical progress in science, industry and daily life is speeding up, there is a constant need in improving sensors in terms of higher sensitivity, reliability and better dynamics. One type of sensor which could keep pace with the requirements of innovation is the silicon-based sensor. The workshop covers open questions like reliability in terms of radiation hardness as well as high-speed and low-power signal processing.
- Dosimetry in radiation therapy
- Readout electronics
- Sensor development for x-rays
- Defect engineering
