Venue & Hotel
The workshop takes place at the Abbe-Zentrum Beutenberg. It was opened in January 2006 and provides the science and innovation campus on Jena’s Beutenberg with a new central focus. This central building houses the communal facilities used by all the institutes based on the Beutenberg Campus. It can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people. Here you can check out the Campus Map.
How to reach the Beutenberg Campus:
By public transport:
From the city center, choose either of the bus lines 10, 11, 12, 13 to reach the Beutenberg campus. You can plan your bustrip here.
It is not advisable to approach the Beutenberg campus by car due to the lack of public parking lots at the campus. However, if you wish to arrive by car, use "Hans-Knöll-Str. 1" as major input for your GPS system.

„VielHarmonie“ is a small individual hotel. Divided in two separate buildings it is located directly in the city centre. tHE hotel provides 28 rooms for 43 guests. You can book a parking slot near the hotel for a small fee.
The hotel "Zur Noll" provides 45 stylish and cozy hotel rooms. It is located in the pedestrian zone Oberlauengasse, in the middle of the heart Jena´s, the historic old town. Wireless access is free of charge.
Enjoy a ecological, modern and relaxing stay in the heart of Jena. The boutique and bussinesshotel Eulensteins is located close to the train station of Jena Paradies and provides its own parking.
